VIRTUAL REALITY FOR SENIORS?

Yes, we help seniors who suffer from

loneliness, boredom due to routine, depression, physical pain, and lack of exercise.

Seniors are happier

thanks to virtual reality

OUR MISSION IS TO MAKE PEOPLE LAUGH!

Yes, it's that simple. We want to show older people new ways to celebrate life.

Get ready to surprise them!

The Solution

Senior Flow VR is a virtual reality therapeutic content platform designed for older adults, aiming to promote emotional well-being and train age-related cognitive functions such as memory, attention, and language.

01 - Combating isolation — from silence to conversation

Without treatment, prolonged loneliness can lead to depression, anxiety, heart disease, and high blood pressure. Our virtual reality experiences spark curiosity and encourage interaction: "I've been there before!", "Look at that place!", "Do you remember...?" The program offers themed tours, musical activities, and simple conversation prompts that promote smiles, anecdotes, and a more relaxed atmosphere for the rest of the day.

02 - Encourage whole-body movement

A little movement is all it takes. When users explore new places and activities in virtual reality, movement is a natural reaction. Many older adults find their physical condition improves thanks to the engagement of their upper body, neck, abdominal, and arm muscles. The result: a boost of energy and confidence, effortlessly.

03 - Relieve physical pain - reduce medication intake

Beyond its entertainment value for the elderly, virtual reality can improve medical care. It can alleviate physical pain and contribute to the management of chronic diseases by providing a distraction during unpleasant or anxiety-inducing medical procedures.

Cognitive Stimulation -

Engage, Recall, Stay Alert

Training functions that decline with age helps combat dementia. This includes memory, attention, and language training.

When the mind is stimulated, morale improves. We promote recall and orientation through calming scenes, virtual tours of the resident's hometown (home, school, or church based on their address), and short, engaging quizzes.

The result: attention is focused, memories resurface, and residents feel present and independent.

Our Technology is so Powerful that it Seems Like Magic!

Virtual Tourism

Our virtual reality solution brings a breath of fresh air to older people: it offers immersive excursions that break with loneliness and monoton – directly from your armchair or bed.

Walk the Streets of the World in VR

One of the most poignant effects of virtual reality on the elderly is connecting older people with their autobiographical memories; VR strengthens identity and offers new approaches to supporting people with memory deficits. One resource is using Google Maps with street view integrated into virtual reality so they can visit any address they wish.

Even in severely disoriented individuals, VR can evoke emotional reactions and natural expressions – often where traditional methods no longer work.

Who are We?

Zander was inspired to entertain his mum, Marly

A lifelong traveller from Curitiba, Brazil, Marly had a stroke in 2024 and moved to a care home. Since then, Zander has been searching for new ways to create moments of joy, relaxation, and well-being for her and for other seniors.

Zander is now a Virtual Reality travel facilitator, taking older adults to uplifting places so they can experience wonder again.

His background as a Peak Performance Coach brings practical tools to help seniors engage in gentle, motivating activities that spark the flow state and promote vitality and happiness.

What is the Flow State?

Flow is an altered state of consciousness achieved when you feel your best and perform your best. In flow you lose track of time, and you have the sense of progressing and developing yourself.

Researchers strongly believe that flow underpins the most significant progress in science, drives business breakthroughs, and fuels innovation in the marketplace.

Flow is not limited to business and science; it's also experienced by artists when they perform at their best. Additionally, athletes achieving gold medals and world championships often have an intimate relationship with flow, harnessing its power to reach peak performance.
